New to this site
Hey Everyone,

Just a little about myself. I have been wandering the internet seaching for sites to learn more about the military community since my son is a PFC serving in Iraq. I have several friends retired from the military, and one currently serving active duty for most of the past 4 years from the Air National Guard. Found this site, so thought I would check it out, but you all required me to register, so hear I am.

My own background includes 30 years in law enforcement and corrections in the state of Washington. I am retired now, and returned to the private sector. Much too young and ambitious to be fully retired (at least not for about 20 more years I hope).

I belonged to several corrections and law enforcement discussion groups over the years, but this is my first military related one. I figure I'll just browse for a while and see what you all have to say.
