doing homework

i just wanted to introduce myself with a question.Im 19 years old thinking about joining the national guard with a 6+2 contract.Im currently doing my homework on it and i was just wondering your guys opinions,opinions on everything including the flaws and benifets.If i do join what are some options for a contract example airbourne or sniper school and that sort of stuff.if anyone can help me out id appreciate it

First you should check into what National Guard units are near your home. That might change some of the things you think you want. Example going to Jump School, If the NG units near you are not Airborne units it is possible that they will not spend the money to send you to that school. Sniper school isn't something you can get in your contract. It's something you have to earn the right to attend from your unit.

What's your goal in going to the NG?
