Ft. Gordon?

Anyone here been stationed at Ft. Gordon? What's it like? My recruiter told me I should either ask for Ft. Campbell, Ky or Ft. Gordon, Ga. They are both relatively close to my area with a 4 hour drive to either. I am trying to get as much info as I can as fast as I can, as I ship out for Basic 21Jul05

Or maybe Ft Bragg????? Thats right in between the two.
