Re: Sniper School
Hooah!
Hey, I gotta ask, cause I just don't know what it would look like. You guys are a Spec-For Reserve unit. How does that work? If the NG way of life is one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer, are you guys full time NG, or do you guys just train on your own time? I mean, to keep up with Spec-For requirements, and to maintain Jump Status and everything else, how do you guys make the time doing the regular NG program???? |

Re: Sniper School
I wont completely answer your question, I'll let fleischman do that. But yeah, they only do there one weekend a month thing. Every weekend they drill they jump. They do there section training and what not. From what I have heard, is the A-Team guys (The actual Green Berets) will go on deployments fairly regularly. The area of operations is South East Asia, so they will often go do things during the month besides drill. This link might give you a better ideal of what I am talking about: http://www.groups.sfahq.com/19th/general_burford.htm
If I hammered anything, let me know. |
