Homeless Veterans
Here is an interesting article to read about, with Veterans Day coming up. There needs to be a mass overhaul of the VA in my opinion.

Re: Homeless Veterans
The VA does need some work but it is not their job to house Veterans.
The one alleged Vet in the article said something like, "All my training was Infantry training and there isn't much need of that in the civilian world." What a mickey mouse ten-percenter point of view. I was Infantry and it taught me to be flexible. Taught me to lead and be lead. Taught me how to be part of a team. How to overcome, adapt, and adjust to differing circumstances. Then he goes on to say something like, "I can't get a job because I don't have an apartment and I can't get an apartment because I don't have a job." Another worthless excuse. I'd tell this fuck to embrace the suck least it embrace you. Suck it up troop. Put your fucking boots on and get off your ass. I can't dispute the claim that Veterans make up a large chunk of the homeless population. If true, I'd say the reason is that they are too proud to suck off the hind tit of Uncle Sam unlike those generations that are on welfare. Again, it's not the VAs job to house Veterans. |

Re: Homeless Veterans
I'm not familiar with the VA. But, they should create another administration within the VA (Veterans Civilian Affairs Administration) for transition from military to civilian. It would create new jobs at the VA and would drop the homeless Vets population. It's only an idea.
