JROTC for Marines

Hey, I heard that you only need two years of ROTC in Highschool to go into the Marines as a PFC, is this so? If not, how many years do I need, and is there any summer academys or schools that I could go to before I join?

Yeah two year if JNROTC gets you an E-2 [PFC] upon graduation from Boot.

Also, recruiting two others and meritorious can get you E-2 from boot.

If not, then you come out as private and make PFC in 90 days ... presuming you have no "issues".
