Mct
I just graduated a little over 2 weeks ago, having both my 10 days of leave and my 7 days of recruiting assistance. I just want any quit/good advice about MCT and how much different it will be from MCRD San Diego? Any special items to bring? After completing, will I immediately be sent to my MOS school? Just please respond on anything about the training and anything I should know about MCT. Thanks.

Re: Mct
Don't sweat it, Marine... MCT is not as bad as the horror stories you've probably heard make it out to be. Things will be a lot more relaxed than they were at MCRD, but still very structured. You will have liberty on the weekends, PX privileges, etc.. Training days will be full, with little or no liberty.
The training itself is fairly fast-paced, as they try to cram a lot into the time alotted. All you really need to bring is everything you were issued and a good attitude. MCT flies by, and you'll soon find yourself on your way to your MOS school. Last edited by USMC Chuter; 11-08-2004 at 04:46 AM.. Reason: incomplete |
