What To Expect at MCT

I was wondering what I could expect at MCT as I leave next Tuesday for it. Will be it be like boot camp? Waking up at around 0400, and going to sleep at 0800? Will we be working and doing shit all day long like boot camp? Or will it be like... I dunno, can someone just explain how MCT will work?

Funny, how i just happened to be surfing the web click on this website and found someone who graduated from Paradies Island same time as i did! (i think) Did you graduate 050923? Mike or papa company? I was fortunate enough to be given Recruiters Assistance, for some reason was given to all the grunts.
Earlier this morning i found this website http://www.lejeune.usmc.mil/soi/
Look in the left blue box that says student and click Marine Combat Training. (I clicked on Infantry Training Battalion so i dont know what it says about MCT.)
But on the side of that site click on SOI Video and that tells you what you going to be doing. Semper Fi and Congrats Marine!

MCT I remember it like it was yesterday. Well i've only been in the fleet for like 9 months, but c'mon, I'm not that new am I? Well MCT you're going to still play games, but not getting sent to the quarterdeck type of games. They are more like staying up all night cleanning rifles and weapons because you pissed someone off. There were times when our instructor put us to sleep so we only had 3 hours of sleep. Plus there was firewatch for an hour. You will do 3 big humps every weekend with the company. The first one is 5k, the second 10k and the third 15k. I don't know how it's like on the east coast, but on the west coast we felt like we were running the whole time up and down the mountains. Make sure you don't make the same mistake I did by not hydrating.
