Too early To Be Proud???

So yeah Im still in high school, but everyone knows I want to be a Marine,and I am very proud of that. There is a group of us at school who all feel the same, and today we were discussing how much shit we get from people. Alot of us wear Marine Corps shirts and all that good stuff, and the Marines/Military is pretty much all we talk about, and alot of people try and give us a hard time, we just blow them off, they dont really bother us, but is it wrong for us to be so enthusiastic before we join? I dont think so. But how do you guys feel about people like us?

In today's PC world I'm surprised you are allowed to wear them at school if you are.....as for the rest, enthusiasm is great fuck e'm

Right on, and hell yeah my hair is reg, the guy who cuts my hair cut hair for the navy during WWII! Hes been cutting my familiys hair for 3 generations now! But right on guys thanks for the input!

By a T-shirt for each day of the week. Fuck em. I recently went back for my 10 year reunion and out of all my class mates (28) only 5 of us had careers. One is almost a doctor, one is dentist, and two are farmers. Evrybody else that sat there and questioned why I was joining had medial jobs that changed once or twice a year.

I know I will never get laid off. I have better benefits than some people that put in 20 years at job. 30 days paid vaction, most companies stop at 2 weeks and that is only after you have been there a while. Plus I get as many paid sick days as needed. Free acess to a gym and some kick ass gatherings on base that are usually free.

But the best part, I will always have a job/career.....unlees world peace suddenly breaks out .... which is highly doubtful

Id like to see anyone try and tell me I cant wear a Marine Corps shirt at school, the bastards already took God out of school, now Id dare them to try and Take our COUNTRY out!

I get alot of flak too, but you're lucky Beowulf, you have people at school you can relate to. Me, I don't. All anyone at my school thinks about is when they are going to get drunk..etc. If I even try to have a conversation about the Marine Corp or the Military in general, they just sit there, dumbfounded. They don't know anything and don't care. But I still wear my Marine Corps hate around every single day, I don't have any shirts right now, though. Speaking of that, where do you get yours? I've been looking for some.

First of all, if you're like 16 and someone (school administration) says you can't wear a t-shirt, don't wear it. Instead tell your parents and let them handle it. It's theirs to fight. If you can't foolow simple orders like that you're in trouble. I'm not saying don't stand up for what you believe in, but pick your fights.

I don't see why wearing a Marine Corp t-shirt would get anyone into trouble. I guess we'll see if I get in trouble when I get my shirts.
