I thought about the same thing, there were 4 or 5 guys at the 820th who were ex Marines and they never really got the idea they were in the Air Force. They seemed to think of themselves as a Marine Corps Det at an Air Force Base.

That's funny, we have a couple of former Mariness, they have all come around pretty good. Except every now and then on the range or during PT you see a leather start to grow on their necks. I've always wondered why a Marine would come over to our side.

The three I know:
One was an Electronics tech on my first ship.
Second was E-8 in the Navy who loved to run our little Sailors ragged during PT.
Third he came over as an Intel guy to do SPECWAR.
