Did anybody see the sniper's program on the History Channel?
I watched the show Sniper's on 5/11/06 and it was great. But I wished the program would have lasted more than one hour. I only got to see the one on American snipers, not about the British or Russian snipers. The American one should have included alot more of the snipers from Vietnam than it did.

It was pretty good. It was mostly (99%) about the Marine Corps snipers through history.

Re: Did anybody see the sniper's program on the History Channel?
Hi, my name is Jason and I'm addicted to the History Channel.....j/k.
The sniper episode is replayed regularly. I've seen it at least a dozen or so times, and as Vulture6 stated it heavily emphasizes the Marine Corps Scout/Sniper, but not unfairly. I think the goal is to give insight to those entities that have made the greatest contribution to sniping. There are three additional excellent sniper programs, one as mentioned on the British Royal Marines and the Russian snipers of WWII, another on SWAT and other LE snipers, and finally one general historical overview of American snipers. -peeps |

it was good i remember them airing it a couple years back. if you get the chance one of the coolest history channel episodes recently aired is called 'shootout'. they reproduce alot of the battles in iraq with cgi graphics. some of the scenes are actual, and other's were put together by what the soldier's told history channel. here's the link

Re: Did anybody see the sniper's program on the History Channel?
Its great to hear they play it more than just once in a long time. My satellite kept cutting out every so often because there was a storm going on outside. I definetly want to watch the other sniper shows that they have on there though if they do rerun them. Anyone know what day or time those will be on?
