Looking For Information

My recently passed away, he served in the Marine Corps.
my step mother recieved his flag of which i understand is regulation, does any one know if i can have a flag flown for him at one of the Marine bases and then returned to me.

If you know an active duty Marine, he or she may be able to arrange that for you. I've had flags that I've sent flown at our bases in Iraq & Stan. They were "flags of honor" with the names of those we lost enscribed on the stripes. I didn't ask that they be returned, but my Marine pals sent me pics of them with the flags.
Feel free to let me know if you run in to a brick wall:-) and I can put the request out to my Marine Mom groups and see if we can arrange something.

I was able to speak with someone at Quantico, i was informed that it could be done. I was also informed i would need to provide two flags the regulation 10x19 and a 5x9ft6in storm flag yikes. anyone have a suggestion?

The Marine Corps Association is located aboard the base at Quantico, so that's a local option - but those others ought to work as well. They're asking that because the weather determines which type of flag will fly on a particular day.
