Re: Looking For Information
I do not know.
It would be a fine thing if it was possible. And if it's not, then it would be a fine tradition to start working on getting started. -Mac |

Re: Looking For Information
Since you are in Virginia, try calling the public affairs office at Quantico 703-784-2741.
Or, you can write to: Commanding General MCB, Quantico Attn: Public Affairs Office 3250 Catlin Avenue Quantico, VA 22134-5000 |

Re: Looking For Information
If you know an active duty Marine, he or she may be able to arrange that for you. I've had flags that I've sent flown at our bases in Iraq & Stan. They were "flags of honor" with the names of those we lost enscribed on the stripes. I didn't ask that they be returned, but my Marine pals sent me pics of them with the flags.
Feel free to let me know if you run in to a brick wall:-) and I can put the request out to my Marine Mom groups and see if we can arrange something. -Pat |

The Marine Corps Association is located aboard the base at Quantico, so that's a local option - but those others ought to work as well. They're asking that because the weather determines which type of flag will fly on a particular day. |
