Re: the uniform
You do not have to wear your uniform every where you go. The ones you can wear are perscribed for leave, liberty and the Uniform of the day, The only uniforms this dosnt apply to are Cammies (Never off base, unless your getting gas or stopping by the bank, NEVER to just hang out in) and your Blues NEVER NEVER NEVER wear your blues just any where I dont care how proud you are of them, unless its part of your Job (I.E. Toys for Tots and Recruiters) (one more note please check your spelling before you post, we are not states we are Marines)

Re: the uniform
Just curious, is there a web site where I can buy accessories for my uniforms?I need a vinyl part for my cover, anodized emblem for my cover, and new collar devices. I'd ask my SMI but they only sell the standard issue stuff to us, this is just stuff I want to dress my blues up a little more that's not against regulations.

Re: the uniform
Go to a base. If you can't do that check ebay or anything else like that, just try a search for Marine Corps uniforsm.

Re: the uniform
Unfortunately you need to enlist to get access to the site. Your best bet is going to a local army surplus store. The only real thing that you can do to your uniform that is within regulations is switch to anodized brass. Its brighter and doesn't need to be polished. As far as items for your cover to make it look better, just iron and starch it ad it will look really good for about a month or more then you just do it again. Those inserts really suck.
