Medal of Honor
What do you Jarheads think? I think Pfc. Lynch ( Jessica) should receive the Medal of Honor, Silver Star and purple heart for her actions on that fateful day.
I also believe that her fallen comrades should receive the same medals. Dwight "Devil Dog" Huth |

Re: Medal of Honor
Where did this idea come from?
Never happen in a million years. All it takes is for some General's staff to recommend approval on a Bronze Star citation, and in many cases they are handed out like Navy Achievement Medals at non-FMF headquarters... but it takes a whole lot more approval and scrutiny for the Medal of Honor. As far as I know, there are currently two Marines being considered for the Medal of Honor in Iraq, and I think, one Soldier. All, if awarded, would be posthumous. |

Re: Medal of Honor
First of all your name, if your in the AF what the fuck are you doing with "Devil Dog", last I checked the Germans used that term for the MARINES and not the AF, second if your not in the Corps. dont call us Jar heads, I dont call the Army Dog Faces (Im not even sure if they still call themselves that) and finally your Posted "Idea" about Jessica Lynch, Im not sure if you did this just to start arguments or what. But what the hell lets give them all the CMOH and while we are at it lets just pass out Cracker Jack boxes in Iraq with the Bronze Star, Silver Star, Medal of Honor, and other High awards that the diffrent services have. Who cares if you didnt actually do what it takes to EARN them.

Re: Medal of Honor
Oh and one other things her "actions on that fateful day" included getting in an accident and getting knocked out, the Army has stated that she recieved her Bronze star for Bravery in the hospital, which is still a load of crap and dishonors the award she recieved and other Veterans. Im not blaming this on her its on the Army PR department.

Re: Medal of Honor
What the hell is the deal with DEVIL DOG name? You are an AF A1C. You need to change your fucking name right the fuck away! If the wrong person (or right person) sees that, you can get in serious shit, besides the fact that it is disrespectful and doesn't show much Integrity. That title is earned not given away. What the fuck are you thinking? Your post is also not very well thought out. Why the hell does she deserve that? She didn't deserve her BSM. If you are really in the Military, get access to the "e-club" and read the stuff in there about her and you'll see why Covert said what he did.

No.
I don't blame the lady for getting ambushed, that happans. Nor is it her fault that the Army PR types tried to create a "Jane Wayne" out of her. But one does not get a CMH for being a pow. Karl |

Re: Medal of Honor
By the way I see no need to sound off on an FNG.
He may not know that we don't care to be called "Jarhead". I have run into several wellmeaning folks who did not. Karl |
