Tribute to a Fallen Marine
The link below is to a video made in memorial to a fallen Marine, Cpl. Bobby Warns, Jr, 23, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and a member of the 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division (Chicago, IL). While this video is about Cpl Warns, it is a tribute and memorial to the 399 Marines who have lost their lives in Iraq, and it is a poignant reminder of a scene that has been repeated hundreds of times around the country, for Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen – for those who serve our country in uniform and out… for those who put others first, and themselves last.

Please refer folks that you know to this link so that everyone can watch this. It only runs for about 5 minutes, but I needed a full 20 before I felt I could go on with the trivia of my life.

Thank you for sharing that link with us. What a beautiful tribute to that brave Marine and so incredibly moving. It's difficult to find the right words at the moment but it really brings home the sacrifices made by all those brave servicemen and women who have lost their lives while serving their countries with honour. May God bless all those who continue to put their lives at risk daily and all their families and friends who are waiting at home.
