Bunny, here is the problem: you are talking about something that you have no experience of. You haven't probably had any real encounters with WM's especially those out in the fleet. Just keep it to what you know. The one thing to remember about shitbag WM's is that there are just as many as shitbag male marines, the problem is that WM's only make up about 20% of the corps. That leaves a high percentage of WM's as shitbags.

I dont think this is necessary bunny. However you might soften the way you talk to people who have experiences you dont have. We all have our views on the Corps and those who serve in it. I think it's a bit funny that Hoss is calling most WMs POS while for the most part the men are saying they served as well as most Male Marines, but that was her EXPERIENCE with WMs. Our opinions are our own, but they are informed opinions.

I am not sure I get the logic of this..............you are saying that because the WMs only make up 20% of the Corps they make up a greater percentage of shitbags? The 10% rule would indicate to me that 10% of 80% would be about 8% percent of male Marines are shitbags and 10% of 20% would be about 2% of Marine shitbags are WMs....or did I miss something with the "New Math"?

Just FYI, I’m not some civy who only knows how to spell Marine Corps. I spent 4 years in MCJROTC, I live in O’side (which is Marine Town USA), I have neighbors up and down my street who are Marines, at least 10 friends who are Marines and currently deployed, and know a lot of high ranking enlisted and officers who I keep and touch with on a regular basis, and I practically live on base anyway. So I have SOME knowledge of the Corps. I admit I’m NOT a Marine but I have an idea of what I am talking about based on the collective opinion of all the Marines I do know, that serve, and that I talk to.

That doesn't mean crap unless you have earned the Title. On the WM subject, I am in a LAR company and we have none. I somehow remember WM's getting pregnant alot over in Iraq....

To justify my math that has come under question, this is what I ment: lets say out of 1,000 Marines 200 (20%) are women and there are 100 that are shitbags. Of the the 800 men there are also 100 shitbags. The number of shitbags is the same, but its 50% of the women and only 12.5% of the men. Hopefully that explains my prior post.

I didnt have a lot of experience with WMs except in the Aviation fields and when the Corps bowed to public pressure and allowed them to enter a long list of MOSs that were previously closed to them, that is where they ended up due to do the "combat MOS restriction". To be honest, based on what I saw and worked with, your numbers are way high. The proportion of shitbag WMS to the size of their total numbers in a unit was on the same line as with Male Marines.

The didnt get that way by themelves....unless biology has changed and I wasnt informed. Or are you saying Marines shouldnt have sex because they are female....or that male Marines are not responsible for having "protected sex"?

I just still think that its funny that WM's aren't allowed in "combat MOS's" yet, "Every Marine is a rifleman first". Doesn't that kinda give us all a combat MOS?

They can speak from experience, not~ So-and-so's-brothers friend, my recruiter, when I was at band camp... Sorry, but I've never been comfortable with people riding on others coat-tails.

Yeah, I did have more exposure to WM's then y'all did. I'd say that at least 1/3 of our series should not have graduated from all that I learned, saw and experienced in the fleet.

There were a lot more shitbag WM's (IMO) then there were men.

We all may be riflemen first, but women do not belong on the front lines~ They are too much of a liability to be there.
