Marine Armor questions???
okay, i have a teacher who seems to thing that the Marine Corps is still using the M60 tank. I told him this was not so, and that the MI AI/A2 Abram is what is used. You guys want to back me up on this one? or correct me if i am wrong.
PS he also thought that the M60 was not a 7.62mm and the USMC was using the Brownign .30 cal machine gun from WWII. GEt SOME!! ![]() -Flash |

Re: Marine Armor questions???
On Joes computer, Gomer has a video of Iraq with an M60 tank in it. They may not use it for a main battle tank, but i know combat engineers use a version called the M728 with a 165mm HESH cannon for demolition. I'll bet the corps still uses M60 pattons but probably only with units which are not frontline.

Re: Marine Armor questions???
HA!! I knew it!! No way in hell the Corps was gonna throw away ANY vehicle that could still run. Modify it? of course, dump it from the inventory when there's still plenty spare parts stolen from the Army??? No freekin way.
