Which digital camo pattern do you like more?

Now that you all have seen both, Which do you like more, the USMC or the new Army digital camo? And if you havent heres the links.

I like them both personally, i just like the MarPat cuz im goin to the Marines.

I like just about everyhting about the Army's pattern, I just don't think it's dark enough. I understand that right now most of the fighting isn't in woodland area, but eventually things will swing back. and even if they don't you still need something that will work there. they're trying to cut corners and get a multi purpose uniform that will work in two types of terrain. That's just my opinion. I havn't got my own set yet, so I don't konw how well they work in woodland areas. So I could be wrong.

I like the Marines for two reasons...one ofcourse...cause I'm a Marine and two..because there are little "Eagle Globe and Anchor's" throughout the entire uniform which personalizes it for the service...its cool!

My only concern about the Army pattern is that it appears pretty light. I'm sure that there were appropriate tests done for night visibility/camoflauge, but...

The MARPAT comes in the brown that you see them wearing in Iraq and in a green. I've only seen the "gray" in the Army pattern, and I seems to me that it would stand out more in the dark in the woods or jungle. Then again, a little bit of sweat and I'm sure they'll darken right up!

The color Black on the uniforms we have now is a non-naturally occuring color. it stands out more then a grey would. Now that being said i dont quiet think either uniform is perfect, you cant have 1 uniform for all enviroments. There was a uniform that was 2 piece. one every day part top and bottom, then a cover that would go over that for what ever area of combat you went into. (i want to say German army but im not 100% sure)

i am more of a fan of the Marine Utilities. as stated by TejaniRay, the "Eagle, Globe and Anchor" throughout the pattern is a really cool thing. I work with a Marine and he showed me his gear one day. with the Army ones, i am nowhere close to being an infantryman, but, those velcro patches, ranks, and name bars, dont look like they will stay put and not fall off in battle. I know tests are done to make sure they are as good as they need to be, but that is just my 2 cents.

Actually the patches are velcro so they uniforms can go "sterile" when needed. When i was in Baghdad and we were processing prisoners they would read our name tags and yell for us all hours of the day and night until we just kept our tops off. Some of them were fine and later came out to work with us. Other are now sitting at Gitmo as we speak. if we had, had been able to take off our name tags we could have taken care of the whole thing.

They Army's doesn't compare to the Marine Diggies. We even have tinny EGAs everywhere in the Cammies.
