No, all it says is dont liscense terrorists. It says nothing about arabs. Thats like a white person getting offended if it said dont liscense the KKK. Any white person with half a brain would agree with it. I dont see why someone would consider this anti-arab.

I do and your comparison sucks. The fact that the persons in the picture are wearing Palestinian garb and have their faces covered sends a very strong anti Arab message. If it was a picture of white men in KKK garb and it said don't liscense terrorists it would send the same message.

My point exactly, things like this appeal to the shallow end of the gene pool and that is exactly where this is aimed.

They could have found a better way to advertise the message. A picture of the WTC burning with that message would have been just as effective.

NC has one of the fastest growing illegal alien populations in the country right now. It's too easy for them to get legal driver's liscenses. Since we country bumpkins need to have the hazards of such things spelled out for us in simple language, there is your billboard. Is it racist? Don't know, don't care. We natives like to say, "Welcome to North Carolina...... now go home!"

That is one thing that the article and ad do not tap into. The ever increasing amount of illegal aliens in NC. Covert hit it on the head. There is a large problem here in NC. With that said, USMCRET6391 has a good point as well. It could have had a dressed down individual. Maybe a State Trooper, because 90% of the gas pumps around here have a picture of a State Trooper with the slogan "Drive Away, Loose Your License". This is in reference to individuals driving off with out paying for gas. Now what if it had a black guy in a mug shot or handcuffs SR-25? Would that imply that blacks dont pay? There are individuals who can look past that, but there is a bigger majority that has nothing better to do than complain that its racist and fail to see the point that it is trying to address.

I would be willing to bet that the illegal alien problem in North Carolina is not from the Mid East but from Latin America. To portray all illegal aliens as Palestinian Terrorists is just plain wrong even if you don't consider it racist. Why not portray them all as Juan Valdez or the Frito Bandito?

I'm a real simple kind of guy, I guess. Because to me, the arab and or muslim population should not recieve any form of grace or consideration at all on any issue what-so-ever.

The general pop of that group has refused time and time again to step up and shed themselves of terrorists here in the USA so screw em. They picked their side. There's no such thing as neutral in a time of war. If they're not standing against the enemy, they're standing with them.

They (the general pop of the arab/muslims in USA) dont want the rest of America to treat them with fear and abhorance, then stop giving us reasons.

They want consideration and anti-discrimination grace, then step away from the enemy and hand em up..they *** DAMNED well know who each and every one of them are here in the USA..that's a closed fucking community!! There's no real secrets amongst them!
